Pittura (aka 'painting' in Italian) Arte represents the vision and work of Shruthi Krishnaswamy. Born in India, raised in the Middle East and the USA, Shruthi considers herself a global citizen, something you will see reflected in her brand. Shruthi was inclined towards art since her childhood. After years at companies including IBM and Microsoft, she decided it was time to go after her calling, and turn her passion, into something concrete, wearable and accessible. Artistry and fashion come together with Pittura Arte's custom designed handpinted accessories, which are made of high quality cow hide leather and canvas. The products are made in India according to Shruthi's design specifications, after which they are handpainted individually by her in her home in WA using high quality water proof permanent fabric paints.

In addition to Pittura Arte's line of handpainted accessories which include wallets, handbags and ipad cases, custom orders will be taken to handpaint your existing apparel, accessory, home decor or even a piece of canvas with an individualized handpainted design that reflects your personal style.
